Daughters of the American Revolution
I invite you to join the South Dakota State Society Daughters of the American Revolution. The National Society Daughters of the American
Revolution was established in 1890 to pay tribute to those patriots who sacrificed their lives and fortunes in the American Revolution.
We are a Patriotic service organization with our commitment to historic preservation, Patriotism and education. To be eligible
for membership you must be a woman of eighteen years of age or older and a descendant of a Patriot of the American Revolution.
Our
national motto is God Home and Country. The theme for our State Society is 'State Society on the Move.' "Commit
your work unto the Lord and He will establish your thoughts. Proverbs 16-3
The South Dakota State Society Daughters of
the American Revolution consists of eight chapters throughout the state and we welcome your interest in membership. We have genealogy
volunteers that would assist you with your application process.
